philosophy

  • Reduce friction. Find interface that works for you. Principal is the same, offloading thoughts to create more space for being present.
  • Zeigarnik effect - outstanding tasks gnaw at us, reduce unconscious stress or anxiety
  • Capturing moments and feelings because I’m sentimental
  • I treat time like money and “budget” it accordingly, but I make sure to be flexible with it because there’s value in just living life leisurely
    • Slow living mentality
    • I’m pretty gentle with myself when it comes to productivity despite the amount of effort I put into organizing my life
    • Minimize distractions/junk spending so I have more time to do what I actually enjoy doing

Disclaimer

I’m pretty sure I’m high-functioning neurodivergent or something, so I don’t really get things done unless I’m A. super obsessed B. obsessively tracking personal data. I also find joy in creating and refining documentation.

Also, to me, being organized productivity, I like being able to reflect on previous moments, too, by documenting them.
