garden arbor
I'm currently massively revamping my digital garden, so some pages may not be available until later!
Hello, I'm Bella. This is my digital garden :)
I see this as a place to publicly flesh out my thoughts — by doing so, I hold myself accountable for my learning and ideas. I'm currently really into comparative literature, mythology, and search/retrieval systems.
My philosophy toward knowledge and learning: what's the point of consuming all this information that's constantly thrown at me from different directions if I don't choose what's important to me, synthesize it, and make it my own?
More polished project case studies live on my personal website.

Categorization and forest visualization adapted from Hermitage
- seeds (
): thoughts barely started
- saplings (
): substantial content with much work to be done—coherence and patterns are just emerging
- trees (
): grown-up, coherent pieces of thought, essay, or expression that should not change much except for editorial enhancements
- withered (
): outdated views, whether totally or partially
- stones (
): notes exported or extracted from other mediums where growth is irrelevant (e.g. clippings, highlights, and reading notes)
- signposts (
): allow for ease of navigation
- chests (
): how-to's and tools
